Plans renew monthly until canceled. On the web, billing runs through Stripe and you can change or cancel your plan from Settings at any time. When the mobile apps launch, subscriptions there will be purchased and managed through the app stores. Extra Organization seats are added and billed on the web through Stripe. Subscriptions purchased under an earlier plan lineup keep the pricing, document allowance, and seat terms they were purchased with for as long as they remain active. Common questions
- Is there a free trial?
- Every new account starts with 2 free documents, no card and no time limit. Some invited signups get a set number of free days instead; the invitation says so. Either way, nothing charges until you subscribe.
- What happens if I use all 25 documents on Starter?
- New documents pause until the count resets on the 1st. Your account and every document you have made stay open. If you need more, Business is $20 more per month with no cap; upgrades from Settings take effect immediately.
- What is the difference between Business and Organization?
- Seats and shared memory. Business is unlimited documents for one person. Organization puts 5 people on the same Bear: shared projects, contacts, and company memory, plus a dashboard of who is producing what.
- Is there a mobile app?
- The iPhone and Android apps are almost here. Your account and plan will work the same everywhere you sign in, so nothing you set up today gets left behind.
- Can I cancel anytime?
- Yes. Plans are canceled from Settings, no phone call and no fine print. You keep your plan through the end of the period you already paid for, and your documents stay yours either way.
- I subscribed at an earlier price. Does anything change?
- No. Plans purchased under an earlier lineup keep the price, document allowance, and seat terms they were purchased with, for as long as they stay active.
- Do Organization seats share information?
- Yes. Projects, contacts, and company details live in shared company memory, so the PM, the super, and the office are working from the same record.
